Essential training with the flexibility to fit your work schedule. Taught in one hour segments, this course will be customized for your needs and crew rotations.

A basic electrical overview designed for automotive and HD technicians. No prerequisite knowledge is required. Using our exclusive circuit training board and multiple cameras, Tony is able to demonstrate in real-time the diagnostic issues your technicians deal with on a daily basis.

Potential topics include:

  • What is electricity?

  • Current, voltage and resistance

  • Electrical laws

  • Digital Multimeter (DMM) functions

  • Basic circuits

  • Circuit failures and diagnostic techniques

The students will:

  • Gain an understanding of voltage current and resistance.

  • Be introduced to the proper use and interpretation of a digital multimeter (DMM)

  • Gain an understanding of the use of electrical symbols and wiring schematics.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of Ohm’s Law.

  • Demonstrate the use of voltage drop measurements for electrical diagnostics..

  • Demonstrate the use of current measurements for electrical diagnostics.
